Hello Hudson Pty Ltd (ABN 37 699 454 432), "we", "us" or "our", respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through hellohudson.com.au and in the course of our work, how we use it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

We only collect what we need to respond to you and provide our services.

• When you contact us or fill in a form:
  • your name, email address, phone number, and business name and website;
  • anything you choose to tell us about your project, such as goals, timeframe, budget, and hosting and domain details.
• When you sign up for a care plan or Health Check:
  • your plan and billing preferences;
  • details about your website;
  • if you give them, the name and contact details of the person who receives your invoices.
• When you become a client: information we need to deliver and bill our services, such as access to your website, hosting or accounts you choose to share with us.
• When you visit our website: standard technical information, such as your browser and device type, the pages you view and how you arrived. We collect this through Google Analytics, which uses cookies. We don't use it to identify you personally.

We don't collect sensitive information (such as health information), and we don't need it to work with you.

How we use it

We use your personal information to:

• reply to your enquiry and prepare proposals or quotes;
• provide, manage and support our services, including website care and support requests;
• send invoices and manage payments;
• understand how our website is used so we can improve it;
• occasionally let you know about our services. You can unsubscribe at any time.

We don't sell or rent your personal information.

Spam protection

Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that submissions come from a real person. Turnstile may process technical information about your browser and device for this purpose.

Who we share it with

We use trusted service providers to run our business, and they may handle your information on our behalf:

• website hosting and security (Cloudflare);
• analytics (Google Analytics);
• email and business tools (Google Workspace);
• our project and client management system, where enquiries are stored;
• accounting and invoicing software (Xero);
• email delivery services for system and marketing emails.

These providers may store information on servers outside Australia, including in the United States. We choose providers that take security seriously, and they only use your information to provide their service to us.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

Cookies and analytics

Our website uses cookies for Google Analytics, which helps us see how many people visit and which pages are useful. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can also opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

How we keep it safe

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. These include secure, access-controlled systems and limiting access to the people who need it. We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as required by law, and then delete or de-identify it.

Accessing or correcting your information
